Teletongue is a pair of interactive lollipops. Using the microphones, vibrators and touch sensors concealed inside the lollipop, the user can send the sound and the movement of their "lick" to the other lollipop.
I did: concept design, software, hardware, 3D modeling, silicone mold making
Exhibited at Maker Faire Tokyo 2018
The Spotify Wig is a wig that turns into a punk hairstyle when you listen to loud rock music on Spotify.
It uses the Spotify Web API to collect the genre of the song you are playing, and activates the Bio Metal Fibers on your wig through Arduinos when you are listening to loud rock music.
And it glows in the dark.

The Awakening is an experiment to see what happens if poop comes alive and has its own will.
The crawling mechanism is based on the kirigami skin soft actuator robot by Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). It uses a custom made silicone rubber tube as an actuator, powered by an air pump and a solenoid valve.
The poop skin is a toy purchased from Amazon.
Project with Kyosuke Taniguchi (creative director at Whatever.)
I did: silicone casting, actuator design, electronics
Amongst mnany of the weird things in Japan, one of the weirdest is the traditional system in which new university graduates go through to look for a job.
I wrote a piece on Medium to explain why it's so weird.
Web Test Destoryer is a Chrome extension that will automatically scan the questions of the meaningless web tests in the job hunting process, and match them with pre-exsiting database of answers that is often shared amongst students.
The intention is to eliminate these meaningless web tests as soon as possible.

Live Demo: https://diceky.github.io/BarcodeBattler http://diceky.github.io/barcodebattler2023
A digital reproduction of EPOCH’s legendary toy “Barcode Battler” using React.js + QuaggaJS + Yahoo Shopping API. As long as the item is in Yahoo Shopping, you can scan in any product through its barcode.
In the battle, users have the following two options:
-BARCODE ATTACK: attacks the opponent using values from JAN code and number of hits on Yahoo Shopping
-YAHOO POTION: multiplies the attack point by the item’s rating on Yahoo Shopping
Help us find the strongest product in the market!

WHO states that the right way to wash your hands is to "scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds", which takes about as long as singing "Happy Birthday" twice.
Handwash DJ enhances the appropriate hand wash experience by playing a random song on Spotify for exactly 20 seconds.
Before you wash your hands, say "Okay Google, Hand Wash DJ", and scrub your hands until the song finishes.

NEO HARAGEI augments the traditional haragei (belly dance) during nomikai (drinking parties) to the next level.
By applying face recognition to the face drawn on the stomach, it generates music from the position of facial parts.
There is no doubt that the Japanese society is backed up by the nomikai culture: we must do all we can to sustain that culture even amidst the COVID quarantine.

Mood Checker is a tool for remote workshop facilitators to fully leverage the power of anonymity, through real time collection of mood, chat and more.
Create a room, hand out the link to the participants, and get instant access to the world's first truly honest feedback.

Open source physical Zoom mute button / Zoom phone for the remote era.
Check out the instructables post on how to make this yourself.

As their first designer, I did the entire design work for the initial launch of Orthopicks, an implant order system for orthopedic surgeons. Using the founder's wireframes as the jumping off point, I led their iterative process through agile prototyping and user testing with doctors and medical companies, and propelled them to launch their MVP within 3 months.
I did: service design, UI/UX design, visual identity

d.camp is a design camp for teenagers, hosted by IDEO.
As the first step in to the "weird and wonderful world of creativity", campers immerse themselves in creative activities and learn the mindsets of world-renowned IDEO designers.
In addition to the planning, facilitation and web development, I also code dope workshop tools for the campers to interact with, such as the remote rovers controlled via Amazon Kinesis.
I did: content planning, web design/development, various tool development (such as the remote rovers and Mood Checker, workshop facilitation).

As their first designer, I did the entire design work for the initial launch of trophee, an EC platform to enable everyone to casually contribute to the future of ethical consumption. I joined from a very early stage, listening to the 2 founder's ideas and visions, and led their iteration process through agile prototyping and user testing, propelling them to launch their MVP within 3 months.
